I was looking for an easy bag to handle that would hold as much as possible. It is very sturdy, held plenty of clothes and additional gifts for a five night stay and has very convenient pockets for "liquids" and my laptop to be pulled out at security. All that would be enough but the "Spinner" feature allowing it to turn in all directions was the icing on the cake. I could push it "sideways" down the aisle to my seat with great ease and lightly push it through the airport or drag it like the non-spinners. I'm buying one for my sister's birthday. Amazon quickly sent out a replacement assuming it was a faulty piece. Unfortunately the second bag faced the same fate. This suitcase was a bit more expensive than some, but the prior reviews suggested it was well-made and well-designed. It's now been on a 3 week trip to Singapore and back (6 airplanes, and traveling over 20,000 miles) and worked just beautifully. It was checked luggage for this trip, and supplemented by a small daypack for the things I wanted to keep with me on the planes - a change of clothing, personal electronics and valuables. This suitcase is smaller than the one it replaced, but is very well designed and held everything I would normally take. Its size also means I'll have no trouble getting it into overhead bins when it's a carry-on. And I love the 4 spinner wheels! I've never had those before, and they are just fabulous.
